Lance E. Graves born in February of 1964, a leap year. The "1 Day I Thought This" art gallery collection features twenty-nine different works of art, corresponding to the number of days in his birth month... And has grown to contain some 60 works of art in recent years.
As far back as he can remember, he had a crayon in his hand. By the time he reached adolescence, he knew that art would be his career. With the encouragement and support of his parents, Lance continued to pursue his creative endeavors.
Lance attended the Center for Creative Studies in downtown Detroit, where he studied Graphic Design and Illustration to create his art. Lance then went on to do an internship at General Motors Photographic in Warren, Michigan, an experience that was instrumental in preparing him for the "working world" of graphic arts. Since then, he has done commercial art for a broad range of companies.
Lance enjoys the creative freedom of the "1 day I thought this" collection of art much more! So he started a “Musicians Series” a few years ago and it now has grown to ten original illustrations.
